What's To Come...

A New Year

Nothing like starting the year off with a great idea!
Of New Intentions

I was in the process of finishing up a few posts for the next couple of weeks, when I realized they all fit together and are perfect for this time of year.   The festivities, family and rich food of December always leave me yearning for my routine and a good cleaning out of my personal space and Body Temple I am not big on resolutions, but I have always taken advantage of this time of year to "get back in the swing of things" and declare my intention.

The next few posts will be a guide to help you declare and allow your intention, not only for the New Year, but whenever you need to "shake things up" a bit.  I will be sharing my experiences with the Law of Attraction (or, as I prefer, Universal Law) and how you can use this process to create a solid and positive present moment.  When your present moment is clear and uplifted, you will be better able to make the best choices for your Self.  This will also make it easier for you to follow your intuition and see the road signs laid out for you by the Universe.

Me and my workout buddies ~ lol! ;~D
I will also be sharing my process for getting centered and focused when I get off course.  My biggest intention is to fix that last physical imbalance I've been procrastinating on.  I am perfectly comfortable with my eating habits.  I joke that my thirties were all about learning how to implement food wellness into my life and now my forties are for implementing physical wellness.  I'm pleased with my physical strength and flexibility.  I always beat my students (teenage boys) when we have strength competitions and even though  I haven't been real regimented with my Yoga, it is still a way of life for me.  My intention is to really focus on using this foundation to burn the extra fat off my body.  In other words, I know what I need to do and my intention is to bring it all together.

I'm also excited about a series of interviews I have in the works, regarding following your passion. Thanks to Twitter and Facebook, I have come in contact with some amazing people who have turned their passion, their bliss, into a living.  What better intention to set than to live your passion?

So, it looks like my intention for Sacred Cyber-Space, to make the first few months of 2012 a little lighter and a little more focused, are under way.  In the meantime, I invite you to start with the things you can take control of right now to help lay the foundation for your intention.

  • Purge!  I've said it before, and I will probably never stop: you have to keep the flow going.  Keeping a bunch of stuff you no longer use and that no longer represents who you are, now, in this moment, will only make it more difficult to allow your intentions to manifest.
  • Clean! Organized and shiny personal space helps to create a positive and uplifted perspective. This perspective leads to the thoughts and feelings necessary to accommodate allowing your intention.
  • Affirm!  Mentally prepare your mind and create a great mental foundation for implementing your intention.  Don't let the bad press about affirmations deter you.  I attribute the major changes I have been able to create in my life to practicing affirmations.  They're like a workout for your brain.  They help you flex thinking muscles that would otherwise be sedentary and flabby.
