Music For Yoga

Add Depth To Your Yoga Practice.

My mother and sister, my mom's little yoga master, circa 1973 ;)
Include Relaxing And Uplifting Music.

Well, it's September and I'm adjusting to new students and new dynamics.  Every year, the people I work with and I always forget that it takes a good month for the nature of our classrooms to truly develop.  I work with mentally ill teenagers whose needs can't be accommodated in a traditional school environment.  This is when my posts get a little shorter and when I usually get back into a yoga practice, if I've let it slide.

My mother dabbled in yoga when I was a kid, but it wasn't until the mid 1990s that I discovered yoga and it changed my life.  It has become a way of life for me.  Even if I'm not focused on a practice, I'm thinking about it.  Once you start doing yoga, you will see how it can shift your life, change your perspective and open your mind to a new way of being.

When I do yoga in the morning, I enjoy the silence.  Any other time of day, I've found that adding music to my practice takes the experience to a whole other level.  I've included some great music in this post.  As with any video, they are just the beginning.  Be sure to keep searching through all of the fantastic yoga music after you've listened to these videos.

P.S. Don't forget!  Free Tarot Readings during September.  Make sure you have signed up for my email list, below, to be eligible to win one of four free Personal Insight Readings!
