We were amazed at how many people were out and about as we were walking back to the apartment, from the bus station.
We opted to stay away from the shopping areas and headed towards Mother Nature.
I hadn't seen the new park at this end of Argo Pond (Yes - Ann Arbor is the only city I know of with a canoe livery in its city park), so we walked over to check it out.
As soon as we left, we saw crocuses in the front yard, a sure sign that Spring had sprung.
We crossed the bridge and started walking the trail.
I tried to get a picture of a stunningly beautiful bird, but was only able to get a nice shot of the tree it was in.
We discovered a tiny, moss covered waterfall and Barry showed me where the canoers, kayakers and rowers docked.
Then we decided to hike the big trail around the pond.
It was a good three miles.
I mean it.
It was very good!
But once we left the paved trail and entered the wooded hiking area, the muddy spots kept us from taking in the sites.
It didn't matter.
The hike was FANTASTIC!
The sun was AMAZING!
And the people were WONDERFUL!
