Welcome Back Internet!
My home has not been connected to the Information Highway for a couple of years now.
This has been an intentional choice, meant to make our home a more creative environment.
I referred to my own article the day I decided to let the Internet go again.
It's been really great, and Ken and I both have gotten a lot accomplished.
But, we are also finally at a point where having Internet at home would help us grow even more.
So, for the last four months, I've been looking for a provider and package that works for us.
Then, the other day, I snuck into my mastermind network at work to download something.
I told my coworker "I think it's time to get internet in the house. I really need to start socializing with these ladies and I can't do it here."
THE UNIVERSE RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY...
The next night, a local cable representative/sales guy, knocked on our door and made us an offer we couldn't refuse.
A good old fashioned door to door sales guy, selling us the opportunity to turn back on what I had turned off two years ago.
It was totally - one of those - "Do we trust him? It's dark, it's late, this isn't the greatest neighborhood sometimes. Blah, blah, blah..." - situations.
That's when I assessed the odds that this guy was going to take on Ken, myself and my downstairs neighbor to rob us somehow?
I mean, really.
So I asked everyone to stay put and started talking to the guy.
Now we have Internet again!
Needless to say, I have been surfing all over the place while also getting some work accomplished.
The novelty of having it back is wearing off.
It's time to delegate my time.
Make things clearer.
The research has been completed.
It's time to finish what has been started.
I love the Internet!
